
In the last two years, the Covid-19 pandemic has taken many things from our lives. This condition also raises various Miscellaneous concerns for the people of Indonesia, such as rising poverty rates and rising unemployment. The Ministry of Law and Human Rights seeks to help the community by distributing more than 46,000 packages nationally, simultaneously to people throughout Indonesia, so that they can survive during a pandemic that has not shown signs of ending.
Menkumham Yasonna H. Laoly said the government's policy by making PPKM Level 4 aims to break the chain of transmission of Covid-19. The policy, which ended on July 25, 2021, is now officially been extended to August 2, 2021. Through the social assistance program coordinated by the Secretary-General, that recorded that the Ministry of Law and Human Rights provided a total of 46,614 social assistance packages and social funds of 700 million IDR.
The package mentioned is given to people throughout Indonesia, consisting of 43,558 heads from families directly affected by the Covid-19 pandemic and 3,056 ASN Kemenkumham exposed to Covid-19. Meanwhile, social funds provided to seven Regional Offices of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights that are currently implementing PPKM (Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions) Level 4, Namely DKI Jakarta, Banten, West Java, DI Yogyakarta, Central Java, East Java, and Bali.
This activity is part of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights' concern for the community and fellow employees of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights who have been affected by Covid-19. These are a form of caring, social spirit, compassion, and the spirit to share. Social assistance does not only touch people in urban areas, But also to our brothers who are on the border of the Republic of Indonesia with other countries.
